The Secretariat is the executive arm responsible for day-to-day operation of the Authority. The Executive Director heads the Secretariat and operates through Director of Planning Human Resource Management and Director of Training and VTA Coordinator, Pemba and Heads of Divisions namely:

• Research and Statistics Division

• Registration Division

• Inspectorate Division

• Training Division
