Application Procedures
Vocational Training Centers has established specific procedures for admitting students to the centers. These procedures are outlined below.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE CENTERS
The Centers will advertise for applications through various media, including TV, radio, newspapers, the MMA website, and social media, inviting young people who wish to join the center to submit their applications.
Application forms will be available at the center and must be purchased at a cost of TSh. 5,000/=. The applicant must fill out the application form completely and return it to the college, attaching copies of academic certificates, birth certificate, two passport-sized photos, a receipt for payment of the application form, and a medical examination certificate from a government hospital.
The submission and return of the application form must be done within the specified timeframe, as announced in the advertisement.
The centers management committee will review the applications and select qualified candidates for an interview.
INTERVIEW FOR APPLICANTS
An interview will be conducted for applicants, and the venue and date of the interview will be announced through the media.
During the interview, the applicant must present original documents, including:
-
-
- Academic certificates
- Birth certificate
- Receipt for payment of the application form
- Two passport-sized photos
- A copy of their passport and residence permit (for non-Tanzanian citizens)
-
Successful applicants will be offered a place to join the center.
If it is discovered that an applicant has provided false information, forged documents, or misrepresented themselves during the application or interview process, they will be disqualified from joining the college.
Applicants with special needs will be given special consideration based on their circumstances.
The center may admit students without an interview after verifying their academic qualifications. However, this procedure will apply to all students admitted to the college in a particular academic year.
STUDENT REGISTRATION
Every student studying at the center must register at the beginning of the academic year. This includes new students and continuing students.
No new registrations will be accepted after the third week of registration, unless approved by the College Principal in consultation with the MMA Director of Center and Training. Late registration will result in the student having to wait until the next academic year.
New students are not allowed to change their field of study during the registration period or after the registration deadline, unless approved by the Center Principal after verifying that there are valid reasons for doing so and it does not exceed 21 days from the start of classes.
